both men and women have equel right to use their discretionary power regarding the consumption of hot drinks. Who is Sree rama sena ? This is the time to restrict associations in India in the name of religions. Unless it is restricted this trend may lead more problems against integrity of our nation. If the Babri Masjid was protected from the hindhuistic attack at any cost, we would be safe in the arms of peace still now. So think about peasefull future, rest will follow us. Politics is for social welfare ,not for personel welfare. Also think about the unhealthy politics and realise the politicians
I agree Baiju. I think there are 3 grave issues that needs to be fixed.
1.Moral Hooliganism – A gang of hooligans claiming to fix the morals in the society according to “THEIR” beliefs. Now the point to be considered is trying to “inject their ideas” to everybody else justifying it on moral grounds. This is a very radical and cunning approach and often marks the beginning of terror organizations, naxals and anti-social elements when left unattended. Taliban is a great example.
2.Westernization – These girls were assaulted…but where? May I legitimately use the work “Drinking bar” instead of a “pub” and why did teen age girls go to a pub? It’s a place where alcohol is served and there is high proximity to losing self- control and indecent behavior anyways. A pub is a secluded, dark room, with almost everyone under the influence of alcohol. We Indians want to adopt western ideas on such shameful concepts…we don’t follow traffic rules like they do, we don’t keep the city clean like they do but we learn divorces for silly reasons, be “open” in concepts of sexual filthiness and have pride in having pizza, burgers and coke which is supposed to be most unhealthy foods in the whole universe.
3.Political Dishonesty – In no time when this news was public, every other leader wanted to blame the other. But isn’t it evident that Karnataka has been undergoing sudden threats like these after the BJP came to power? Can’t we humans with a little bit of common sense join the dots to reach a consensus that there is something going on behind the scenes? As long as there are “DISHONEST POLITICIANS” seeking their own good and their own religious good, we would not be able to make Dr.A.P.J Abdul Kalam’s dream of making India a super power in 2020. We would a be bunch of ugly radical terrorists!
Surprising! Once Indian women were fighting for equal rights in the society and against social evils like sati, dowry, female infanticide etc... In no less than a decade their demands have taken a different course that they want to drink alcohol in par with men, be independent and choose their own lifestyle. This is no fight for equality dear ladies, it’s the road to destruction…already we have enough troubles with men drinking at bars and consuming drugs. Why should you compete with what already is a menace to the society. Renuka Chowdhury’s “Pub Bharo” is no less evil than the Sena “Pub math jao” … What do you want our girls to do at the pub…drink lemonade and hear a sermon on morality? What are our women folk doing in a place where alcohol is served and dirty dancing is happening? I’m not justifying the Sena’s brutality neither am I supporting your “Pub Bharo” policy…both are equally cancerous and is not going to take us anywhere further.
If you want to demand equal rights, join the army or the NSG and fight terrorists in par with men and prove women are equally powerful … not by equally drinking and dirty dancing in the pubs!
Look at our mothers and our grannies…did they not stand as an example of how a woman should be? They had all the fun and liberty and now enjoy a happy old life seeing their children prosper…Women of this generation, the morality of your children depends on your conduct today. Please choose to see your children and their children prosper in moral ethics.
